چکیده
The present study investigated the production of biosurfactant by Stenotrophomonas maltophilia UCP 1601under submerse fermentation using renewable substrates as carbon and nitrogen sources applying two statistical tools Plakket-Burman experimental design full factorial to optimize bioprocess. A partial characterization was performed measuring surface tension, emulsification index, determination CMC, ionic charge. tested different conditions temperature, pH salinity, in order evaluate stability biomolecule. tension produced corn steep liquor glycerol 27 mN/m, whose yield 12.6 g/L, its character is anionic. critical micelle concentration (CMC) 70% cell-free metabolic liquid. able emulsify 56% burned engine oil. biomolecule showed high functional performance under extreme thermal, saline concentrations stability. All determinations carried out confirm generation a stable, efficient bioproduct that contributes circular bioeconomy great potential for remediation harsh environmental conditions.

Molecular epidemiology of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isolated from cystic fibrosis patients.
We read with interest the recent study of Krzewinski and colleagues (2). However, we wish to clarify some issues in relation to our own work (1), to which they refer. They suggested that we had found a genotype of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia in cystic fibrosis (CF) patients that was distinct from those isolated from other patient groups or from the environment. This is not our interpretation o...
متن کاملthe effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test
in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

To the Editor: Stenotrophomonas maltophilia has emerged as an important nosocomial pathogen, especially in debilitated and immunocompro-mised persons (1). However, comparatively little is known of the epidemiology of this bacterium, and sources and routes of transmission of S. mal-tophilia are not well understood. The bacterium is widely distributed in the environment, including in plant rhi-zo...
متن کاملStenotrophomonas maltophilia keratitis and scleritis.
BACKGROUND Stenotrophomonas maltophilia is a seldom-reported pathogen in ocular infections. The report describes six cases of Stenotrophomonas maltophilia (S. maltophilia) keratitis and scleritis. To our knowledge, this is the foremost report of S. maltophilia scleritis. METHODS Laboratory reports of patients diagnosed with S. maltophilia ocular infections were collected from the ophthalmic d...
متن کاملGenotype and antibiotic susceptibility patterns of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isolated from cystic fibrosis patients.
The purpose of this study was to type the Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Stenotrophomonas maltophilia isolates recovered from cystic fibrosis (CF) patients by random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD)-PCR and to determine the antibiotic susceptibility of these strains. P. aeruginosa (n=49), and S. maltophilia (n=11) isolates which had been recovered from 16 and 8 patients, respectively, during a 1-ye...
